Emerging IoT Ecosystem: Frictionless Mobile NFC UX and Predictive B2B Data Visualization

  • Role: Marketing Communication & UI/UX Design Specialist
  • Scope: Physical-to-Digital Mobile Product Design, High-Data B2B Dashboard Architecture, Omni-Channel Enterprise Strategy
  • Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite

The Challenge

Talkin’ Things is a deep-tech pioneer and a central manufacturer of custom, high-capacity RFID/NFC hardware tags. Operating at the forefront of the Internet of Things (IoT), the brand designs smart packaging solutions for global corporate giants (including Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, and Procter & Gamble). The primary product design challenge was entirely unique: transforming invisible hardware radio frequencies and multi-million-row engineering datasets into smooth, interactive mobile user experiences and high-level corporate analytic interfaces.

As the lead visual and interaction architect, my mission was to conceptualize and execute a dual-sided digital software layer. This required engineering a fast, error-free consumer mobile flow for physical product interaction and constructing a sophisticated B2B desktop command center capable of visualising live data streams, retail supply chains, and security threats.

The Digital Product Architecture

1. The Physical-to-Digital Bridge: Advanced Mobile NFC UX

Designing software for physical objects requires shaping non-traditional human habits. Utilizing large-scale enterprise rollouts (Lenor Unstoppables and Joops) as operational foundations, I built a predictive 3-stage interactive user loop:

  • Intention & Error Prevention: Deployed an active, pulsing visual radar system on the onboarding interface. This graphic guide quickly builds a correct consumer mental model, signaling exactly how and where to physically tap the smartphone against the package, thereby eliminating scan failures and onboarding drops.
  • Instant Dynamic Validation: Designed clear, real-time interface feedback verifying product legitimacy (“Genuine” / “Unopened”), instantly building direct consumer-to-brand hardware trust.
  • Gamified Loyalty Loop: Converted tactile product interaction into digital currency, feeding verified hardware interactions into continuous reward structures, including custom micro-e-commerce experiences like “Perfect Basket” behavioral tracking.

2. Business Intelligence: Enterprise B2B Analytics Dashboard

A mass scale IoT deployment produces millions of live tracking pings that are useless without instant visual clarity. I designed a high-end desktop dashboard that turns complex, multi-layered data into clear, actionable corporate strategy:

  • Geographical Interface (Scans by Location): Created interactive global tracking maps pinpointing real-time consumer engagement density.
  • Logistics Flow Mapping: Structured an end-to-end operational map charting physical product distribution across three technical nodes: Production Plants, Fulfillment Hubs, and terminal Retail Locations.
  • Grey Market Activities (GMA) Security Alerting: Designed a critical risk-detection module utilizing the Von Restorffa Isolation Effect. When tag scanning behavior signals a sudden, unmapped regional volume surge outside authorized distribution lines, the interface overrides the corporate blue palette with a sharp, pulsing contextual red alert (#CE0000). This allows enterprise brand managers to spot counterfeit operations or black-market leaking within seconds, completely eliminating data reading overhead.

The Tech Demonstrations (Ecosystem in Motion)

To prove the execution of these systems, the case study integrates strategic interactive media highlights showcasing my operational direction:

  • Coca-Cola Atlanta Pilot (Art Consultant Role): A multimedia deep-dive into a historic global tech breakthrough—the world’s first successful commercial implementation of an NFC microchip injected directly into a plastic bottle closure (in-molded chip), demonstrating seamless software initialization upon physical opening.
  • McDonald’s Poland Deployment (Executive Art Director Role): An omnichannel case film produced in synergy with DDB Warszawa (now TBWA), showcasing the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) and Image Recognition (IR) technology with the Talkin’ Things backend to drive consumer traffic and retention in high-volume retail locations.

The Results

Hardware-Software Unification: Created a polished digital design system that made advanced, invisible hardware operations intuitive for everyday global consumers.

Enterprise-Grade Usability: Successfully demonstrated that big-data industrial telemetry can be synthesized into clean, hyper-usable mobile layouts and high-performance business dashboard software.

Brand My Name

  • Role: Creative Designer & Brand Consultant
  • Timeline: 2026
  • Scope: Brand Strategy, Visual Identity (Branding), Logo Design, Typography, Corporate Stationary & Social Media Assets
  • Tools: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

The Challenge

BRAND MY NAME is a boutique agency specializing in building personal brands and supporting small businesses in their marketing and communication efforts. In a market flooded with generic marketing consultants, the agency needed a corporate identity that reflects absolute professionalism, strategic depth, and high-end creative authority.

My task was to design a comprehensive visual identity system from the ground up. The primary objective was to create a bold, memorable logomark and cohesive branding assets that inspire trust in premium clients, while remaining versatile enough to adapt seamlessly across both physical print and digital media platforms.

The Process

1. Strategic Direction & Visual Positioning

The creative process began by defining the core message of the agency: clarity, precision, and authority. Leveraging my extensive background in marketing communication, I established a high-contrast, sophisticated visual direction. The branding needed to look minimal yet impactful, ensuring that the agency’s own visual presence frames their clients’ personal brands beautifully without causing visual clutter.

2. Logo Design & Conceptual Synethesis

The naming “BRAND MY NAME” carries a strong imperative. The logomark needed to reflect this confidence:

  • The Concept: I focused on a typographic and symbolic synthesis that subtly integrates the ideas of “branding”, “identity”, and “ownership”.
  • The Execution: Using Adobe Illustrator, I crafted a custom monogram/logomark meticulously aligned to a strict geometric grid. The sharp angles and balanced curves represent precision, strategy, and business growth.
  • Color Palette: I selected a refined, high-contrast palette (featuring monochrome foundations with a distinctive accent color) to ensure maximum impact in B2B communication.

3. Corporate Identity & Scalability

A brand agency must lead by example. I developed a unified design system that covers all touchpoints of the brand’s daily business operations:

  • Digital Assets: Designed a cohesive system for social media profiles, presentation templates (pitch decks), and digital stationery optimized for screens.
  • Print Production: Curated material specifications and layouts for high-end physical assets, including premium business cards, corporate letterheads, and brand books.
  • Versatility: Every asset was stress-tested in Figma to guarantee flawless scaling—from a tiny favicon or Instagram avatar to large-format event banners.

The Results

Cohesive Market Entry: Delivered a bulletproof corporate identity system that successfully positioned BRAND MY NAME as an elite player in the personal branding sector from day one.

Design Excellence: The project perfectly demonstrates my capability as an independent consultant to take a raw business concept and transform it into a sophisticated, cohesive, and market-ready visual reality.

AlUla

Balancing Cultural Legacy and Mathematical Precision through Modern Ornamentation

  • Role: Lead Designer / Art Director
  • Scope: Conceptual Strategy, Algorithmic Design, Pattern Systems, Geometric Structuring based on the Golden Ratio
  • Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Digital Prototyping Tools

The Challenge

The royal city of AlUla in Saudi Arabia is a cradle of ancient craftsmanship—from monumental facades carved into pink-gold sandstone to intricate geometric plasters in the Najdi style. The competition challenge was to interpret this year’s theme: “The Ingenuity of the Human Hand.”

The project had to clearly reference this historical context while maintaining complete originality, freshness, and ecological as well as technical feasibility. The objective was to create a motif that bridges AlUla’s deep past with innovative visions of tomorrow, suitable for scaling across 3D printing, architecture, and contemporary fashion.

The Process

1. Cultural Roots and Conception

2. Mathematical Rigor: The Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci Spiral

To imbue the project with timeless harmony, the fundamental component (the strand representing a human finger/gesture) was drafted based on the Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci spiral (as shown in the construction blueprint). This approach ensures that the organic movement of the human hand acquires structural discipline.

3. Construction of the Main Motif

Three optimized strands were combined into a central rosette (triquetra) using a rigorous radial grid based on angles of 30°, 90°, 150°, and 270° (visible in the motif structure diagram). This construction guarantees ideal visual balance. I prepared three color variants of the main motif, tailored for diverse mediums:

  • Monochromatic deep black (Black),
  • Pure white (White),
  • A tri-color variant (White/Black/Red), introducing contrast and dynamism.

4. Algorithmic Pattern Systems and Scalability

In line with the technical requirements and the need for scalability, the central motif was expanded into four advanced ornamental structure options:

  • Option 1 (Hexagonal Layout): A rosette creating openwork, circular modules, ideal for architectural applications (e.g., as modern facades or shading panels).
  • Option 2 (Tri-Arm Layout): A dynamic, fractal weave dedicated to textile prints and contemporary fashion.
  • Option 3 (Architectural Structure): A geometric macro-grid based on repeatable modules.
  • Option 4 (Ribbon Frieze): A linear, undulating layout perfect for product finishes or urban identity elements.

As a result, the ornament ceased to be merely decorative and became a carrier of structural information, ready for implementation using modern tools such as 3D printing.

The Results

As a result, the ornament ceased to be merely decorative and became a carrier of structural information, ready for implementation using modern tools such as 3D printing.

Człowiek z Komodo

Building a Unique Vintage Furniture & Op'Art Brand from Concept to E-commerce

  • Role: Brand Designer, Art Director & UI Designer
  • Timeline: 2019 – 2026
  • Scope: Brand Strategy, Brand Identity, Logo Design Process, UI/UX Web Design, Content Marketing & Social Media
  • Tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), WordPress

The Challenge

The furniture restoration market is growing rapidly, but most brands focus strictly on classic, historical restoration. Człowiek z Komodo carved out a unique niche: upcycling mid-century vintage furniture and giving it a second life through bold, modern hand-painted patterns inspired by Op’Art.

As Art Director and Brand Designer, my role was not to restore the furniture or design the patterns myself, but to transform this unique craftsmanship into a distinct, functional, and modern digital brand. The business objective was to build a comprehensive visual identity and an intuitive e-commerce platform that positions these niche items as premium pieces of collectible functional art, thereby attracting design enthusiasts and art collectors.

The Process

1. Brand DNA & Art Direction

The project began by defining the brand’s archetype and translating a hands-on workshop concept into a digital business strategy. Combining my fine arts background (Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw) with a strategic marketing approach allowed me to establish a visual framework that perfectly showcases the unique furniture without overpowering its inherent character.

2. Logo Design & Brand Identity Process

Designing the mark required a precise balance between the raw, tactile nature of woodworking and the mathematical geometry of Op’Art. The logo needed to be highly versatile:

  • Sketching & Concept Development: I bypassed literal representations of a Komodo dragon in favor of a geometric abstraction that resonates more deeply with mid-century modern design.
  • Geometry & Grid System: The logotype was refined using a strict grid system in Adobe Illustrator. These precise proportions guarantee excellent legibility and visual balance across all formats.
  • Scalability & Variants: I created a responsive logo system (main logomark, vertical/horizontal lockups, and positive/negative variants) optimized for smartphone screens as well as physical branding (e.g., as a custom wood-burning iron stamp or a signature on certificates of authenticity).

3. E-commerce UI/UX Design

I designed the user interface (UI) for the e-commerce store using WordPress, establishing a minimalist, high-contrast aesthetic that lets the product imagery take center stage.

  • The UX Challenge: Every piece of furniture created by Człowiek z Komodo is a one-of-a-kind, unique item. The primary UX task was to clearly display products as high-end collectibles, streamline the instant-purchase flow, and create an intuitive path for custom orders (where clients send in their own furniture for bespoke restoration).
  • Mobile-First Approach: The entire checkout funnel was heavily optimized for mobile devices, ensuring seamless transitions, micro-interactions, and flawless presentation of high-resolution product photography.

4. Content Strategy & Social Media

I was responsible for the visual direction and management of the brand’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook). I produced engaging video content (Instagram Reels, short-form process videos made with After Effects) that pulled back the curtain on the studio’s workflow. High-contrast “before/after” formats built immediate authenticity and drove organic e-commerce traffic and sales.

The Results

Full-Scale Brand Launch: Successfully guided the brand through its entire foundational lifecycle—from the very first pencil sketch of the logo, through packaging and certificate design, to a fully operational e-commerce ecosystem.

Business Maturity: This project proved my ability to manage a comprehensive creative process where high-end graphic design and UI function directly as business tools to drive digital sales for a physical, premium product.
